Privacy Policy

1. Information you provide

The Card Advisor can process information you choose to enter, including your goal, approximate monthly income, spending by category, fee preference, valued benefits, current card identifiers, expected lounge use and eligible merchant UPI spending.

GainFair does not ask for your PAN, Aadhaar number, full card number, CVV, OTP, bank password or bank-login credentials. Do not enter or send such information to GainFair.

2. How calculator information is processed

When you request a recommendation, your selected inputs are transmitted to GainFair's server and processed to calculate a result. GainFair does not currently create a user account or intentionally save those recommendation inputs to a user-profile database.

If you choose “Save in Browser,” your advisor preferences are stored in your browser's local storage on that device and restored on a later visit. It is not a cloud account. You can remove it with GainFair's “Clear saved browser profile” control or by clearing site data.

If you continue from Card Health to the Card Advisor, selected card identifiers and spending estimates may be carried once through this tab's session storage. The Card Advisor removes that temporary handoff as soon as it reads it. The values are not placed in the URL or saved as a browser profile.

3. Support messages and technical data

If you email support@gainfair.in, GainFair receives the address, message and attachments you send and uses them to respond, investigate corrections and maintain business records.

Hosting, security and email providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, request time, requested URL and security logs. This information may be used to deliver the service, prevent abuse and diagnose failures.

4. Local storage and product analytics

GainFair uses local and session storage for features such as saved browser profiles, temporary data handoffs, and anonymous product analytics.

GainFair uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website traffic, page usage, device information, and non-sensitive product interactions. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies.

GainFair does not intentionally send Google Analytics your name, email, exact income, exact spending amounts, PAN, Aadhaar, card details, OTPs, banking credentials, or free-text feedback. GainFair does not use analytics for third-party behavioural advertising or sell visitor profiles.

Analytics is not loaded on GainFair's local or staging environments and remains disabled when the browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

5. Service providers and external links

GainFair uses service providers for website hosting, content delivery, database infrastructure and email. They may process limited information on GainFair's behalf under their own security and data-processing terms.

Some application links pass through affiliate attribution providers, including ClariFi and Cuelinks. When you follow one of these links, the provider may process ordinary click and connection data under its own privacy policy. This may include the destination, request time, IP address, browser or device details, and attribution identifiers.

When you follow a bank, issuer or other external product link, you leave GainFair. The destination may collect information under its own privacy policy. GainFair does not control an issuer's application process, KYC collection or data practices.

6. Purposes and sharing

Information is processed to provide recommendations, measure whether the Card Advisor works, operate and secure the service, answer support requests, correct card data, comply with law and protect GainFair or its users. Recommendation feedback may include the card identifier, calculation rule version and correction message you submit. GainFair does not sell your calculator inputs or saved browser profile.

Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or to providers that help operate GainFair. It may also be transferred as part of a future business reorganisation, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

7. Retention and security

A browser-saved profile remains until you clear it. Google Analytics user and event data retention is configured for 14 months. Support correspondence and necessary operational records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal or business purposes. Infrastructure providers may retain technical logs according to their configured retention periods.

GainFair uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Notify support@gainfair.in if you believe information or the service has been compromised.

8. Your choices and rights

You can use the Card Advisor without creating an account, decline optional inputs, avoid saving a browser profile, clear local storage and choose not to follow external links. Subject to applicable law, you may request information about personal data GainFair holds about you, correction or deletion, or grievance redressal.

Because GainFair does not currently maintain user accounts or a central profile database, it may be unable to identify calculator inputs after a request has been processed unless you provide enough information to locate a relevant support or technical record.

9. Children

GainFair's credit-card comparison service is intended for adults. GainFair does not knowingly seek personal data from anyone under 18 or encourage a minor to apply for credit.

10. International processing and policy changes

Service providers may process information in India or other countries where they operate, subject to applicable law. GainFair may update this policy when its services, providers or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by a new update date on this page.
